It is important to look closely at globalization in relation to cultural change since the two elements happen to be closely interrelated. The rise in the rate of global communication has led to a general increase in global, cultural interaction. These interactions are causing there to be a coming together of different, diverse and relatively distinct cultures each having different cultural norms and messages that were once considered to be beyond the perception of the different individual cultures.
